The Birth of Tiptoe

Nearly three decades ago on a restless night, I turned, like people have done for generations, to the Torah for hope and guidance. What a difference the original text made! The words were so powerful and poetic.

But it was confusing at times with its lineages, unfamiliar names, places and dates.

So I began to adapt the Torah with the goal of bringing out the best of the original text in a clear and meaningful way. It has evolved into several editions.
